How To Use LPG Forklift Properly

1. First of all, be familiar with the manuals of LPG forklift, have a comprehensive understanding and understanding of the liquefied gas conversion system, and do not stop the forklift near the heat or fire source, and do not adjust or modify the liquefied gas conversion device without authorization; Regular maintenance and inspection should be carried out on schedule; Be alert and deal with any leaks or anomalies immediately.

2. Make a reasonable start: Be confirmed that the manual valve on the cylinder has been fully opened before work, and the manual valve should be closed when the forklift is usually idle; Don’t have to step on the accelerator when starting, the dual-fuel system must switch the switch to the liquefied gas position, after starting, especially in the cold zone, it’s best to warm the car for two or three minutes to ensure that warm water can flow into the carburetor to accelerate vaporization.

3. Pay attention to the fuel switching method: for LPG forklift, the switching should be done when the forklift is stopped, and can not be switched during driving; When the gasoline is converted to liquefied gas, let the internal combustion engine continue to run at idle speed. At this time, you can turn the switch to the middle position, so that the gasoline in the carburetor burns out until the fire is turned off, and then turn the fuel switch to the liquefied gas position and restart

4. Do the correct filling: When filling, put the air gun on the filling valve on the bottle, and screw it tight, while unscrewing 80% of the liquid level hole on the bottle, start filling gas. When there is white fog emerging from the 80% liquid level hole, the gas injection should be stopped immediately, the 80% liquid level hole should be tightened and closed, and the liquid level gauge indicator is correct.
